AGI’s number one mission is connecting earth, science and people. Our Leadership Forum, Critical Issues Forum and Education Summits feature some of the community’s top experts in the geosciences discussing and debating leading topics in the geosciences.
AGI’s Workforce program provides a wealth of information on careers in the geosciences for the public, educators, and interested students. Explore the diverse career pathways of a geoscience career and find your way towards making a difference.
AGI’s publications have provided premier publishing, curriculum development, and information services to the geoscience community for over 50 years. EARTH Magazine and GeoSpectrum keep you on the forefront of geoscience news while the Glossary of Geology and the Geoscience Handbook are invaluable to the student geoscientist or anyone in the field.
Earth Science Week is AGI’s annual education initiative helping K-12 students gain a better understanding and appreciation for the Earth Sciences and to encourage stewardship of the Earth.
