GeoRef Alert Service

Keep up with current research
for less than $7 per month!

WHAT IS IT
The GeoRef Alert Service is available to researchers with an ongoing interest in a particular research area. As new updates are added to the GeoRef database your predefined profile will be run against the new references and the search results will be delivered to you by e-mail. GeoRef Alert subscribers may choose to receive new references to their particular area of interest either once a month or every two weeks.

WHY SHOULD I SUBSCRIBE
• Continuously updated - 3,500 journals
• Delivered via e-mail to the desktop

ALERT PROFILE DESCRIPTION
Your profile will be tailored to fit your interests. Some options for inclusion or restriction are as follows:
Subject
Language (for example, English only)
Geographic Location
Meeting Abstracts
Journal titles
Publication dates (for example, only the last two years)

A test will be run with your profile to determine the average number of references in your area over a period of five years. A sample update will be sent to your e-mail address. Changes to expand or restrict your profile can then be made. Once you subscribe, the twenty-five most recent references to your subject area will be e-mailed to you and delivery of future alerts will begin.

COSTS
There are three options when subscribing to the GeoRef Alert service:
• $75 - up to 225 references per year
• $150 - up to 450 references per year
• $300 - up to 1,000 references per year

All profiles are designed to average less than 1,000 references per year.
