Job Summary
The selectee for this position will serve as a Cartographer (Geospatial Analyst) in the Geospatial Program Analyst, Real Estate & Asset Management Section, GF Facilities Division, Marine Corps Installation Command of MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION.
Major Duties
- Analyze geo-referenced data to determine resource conditions or trends
- Analyze and correlate available research information, implementing workflows, and data management processes for seamless data acquisition and display
- Interpret guidelines for adaptation to fit particular geospatial circumstances
- Manage Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) survey projects related to real estate cadastral work
- Develop new methods, criteria, or propose new policies to advance a geospatial program using the latest technology
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical expertise in the area of geospatial information systems and services. Pay Range
$102,663.00 - $133,465.00
