Job Summary

You will serve as a CIVIL ENGINEER within NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND MARIANAS. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 12.62% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.

Major Duties

  • Manage engineering projects to ensure completion and technical requirements are met
  • Review projects for adherence to current policies, regulations, laws, and requirements for design engineering and construction
  • Analyze all planned facilities to identify discrepancies and inadequacies in structure systems and performance for conformance with U.S. construction standards and requirements
  • Oversee pre-construction conferences and constructability reviews are performed to ensure procedures are correctly being followed
  • Brief staff and managers concerning the engineering and contract requirements of facility construction projects

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing civil/structural engineering planning, design, construction and maintenance of facilities (e.g. special projects, military construction (MILCON), demolition, maintenance, space utilization and facilities development). Pay Range

$78,927.00 - $101,947.00
