Major Duties
- You will use computer aided design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD) to prepare concept designs, final working drawings, and engineering calculations.
- You will investigate construction to identify major problems and initiate corrective actions.
- You will interact with internal and external customers for project execution.
- You will discuss project information with customers to assess their needs.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Produce and develop civil engineering design packages, including design drawings, plans, specifications and design build requests for proposal; 2) Review civil engineering design submittals to provide subject matter expert acceptance recommendations to officials; and 3) Provide civil engineering design consultation services to officials during construction. Pay Range
$85,428.00 - $111,062.00
