Job Summary

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. You will serve as a ENGINEER in the in the CONTRACTS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV.

Major Duties

  • You will provides standardization and consolidation of infrastructure engineering products and processes throughout the division, and where applicable.
  • You will lead and assign all infrastructure engineering efforts for division infrastructure projects enabling project teams to function effectively and efficiently throughout the design-build-deliver processes.
  • You will provide critical oversight at all stages of project execution including concept development, requirements refinement, system design, installation and integration, acceptance testing, and system sustainment.
  • You will mentor members of the systems engineering functional area empowering them to become future engineering leaders.
  • You will provide leadership to advance the organization's stature and expertise in the vital area of infrastructure engineering

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band ND-04 (GS-12/13) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer providing oversight of telecommunications systems engineering products and process to ensure systems function effectively and efficiently. Pay Range

$104,182.00 - $170,800.00
