Job Summary
You will serve as a Facility Engineer (FE) or Project Engineer for the NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV and provide support to the US Marine Corps Program Manager for Training Systems (PMTRASYS) located in Orlando, FL.
Major Duties
- You will provide engineering support, technical analysis, studies, and associated deliverables as applied to the development of training systems/devices/support infrastructure.
- You will perform tasks including concept development, system architecture definition, engineering analysis, and development of diagrams, drawings, layouts, and cost estimates.
- You will conduct and lead system acquisition, integration, installation, and test and evaluation.
- You will ensure compliance with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), Naval Facilities Command (NAVFAC), National Electric Code, and National Fire Protection Agency, and/or Telecommunication Industry Association (TIA) standards and specifications.
- You will develop and review program engineering documentation, review all contractor technical data and contract documentation deliverables and develop Task Order artifacts (Statements of Work, Contract Data Requirements List, Specifications).
- You will apply electrical, mechanical, civil, and/or general engineering theories, concepts and principles as practiced within system design, integration, and installation.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 (GS-09 and GS-11 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional Engineer applying systems engineering practices and concepts to analyze requirements and develop engineering documentation (e.g. designs, diagrams, drawings, layouts, cost estimates) for facilities or infrastructure projects. Pay Range
$64,009.00 - $118,603.00
