Job Summary

You will serve as a Engineer/Scientist in the Electronic Warfare & Sensor Systems Division, Electromagnetic & Sensor Systems Department of NAVSURFWARCENDLD. If selected, you will serve as the Softkill Coordination Subsystem (SKCS) Software Lead

Major Duties

  • You will will lend your software expertise to other engagement coordination initiatives to ensure a solid foundation is in place proper alignment and integration with SKCS.
  • You will provide senior level technical oversight and rigor, leadership, and guidance for the execution of software development tasking and projects, ensuring the timely delivery of effective capabilities for optimal EW system performance.
  • You will conduct routine technical reviews to assure best practices are being leveraged in delivering quality products in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • You will provide technical oversight of science, engineering, and integration efforts for electronic warfare systems and electromagnetic sensor systems.
  • You will apply a comprehensive understanding of various engagement coordination technical initiatives, software development best practices, and systems engineering in the leadership and development of SKCS.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer or scientist coordinating or conducting design, development, test & evaluation, integration, or in-service engineering of electronic warfare systems, radar systems, sensor systems, or combat/weapon systems. Pay Range

$99,172.00 - $166,500.00
