Job Summary
You will serve as an ENGINEER/SCIENTIST in the role of the Division Deputy for the Weapon Systems Division of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.
Major Duties
- You will provide leadership on the development, implementation, and sustainment of the Division?s operations and business planning strategies.
- You will oversee overall execution of operations across the Division.
- You will ensure close communication and collaboration with the Division Manager (DM) and Branch Managers (BMs) in the division.
- You will apply life cycle management and engineering agent roles and responsibilities (Acquisition Engineering, In-Service Engineering, Design Agent, etc.)
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-4 (GS-12/13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer or scientist leading the development, planning or execution of engineering projects, program or initiatives. Pay Range
$91,231.00 - $164,858.00
