Job Summary

Fort Lee, Home of Logistic Warriors, is a US Army installation located near the Tri-Cities of Petersburg, Colonial Heights, and Hopewell, VA. Fort Lee is south of Richmond, the Capital of Virginia. There are a number of important missions accomplished by the activities located here. The missions accomplished at Fort Lee include combat and training development and the professional development of military personnel through various training programs.

Major Duties

  • Manage and maintain employee time and leave records.
  • Provide administrative support to organization employees.
  • Manage and prepare incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Complete required forms in support of organizations daily mission.
  • Perform Data entry.
  • Research information that relates to environmental projects and programs.
  • Answer telephones and greets visitors.
  • Assist callers and visitors with inquiries.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes preparing correspondence and reports using automated office systems such as Microsoft Office (i.e., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc); data gathering and reporting; time and attendance reporting; and travel planning and vouchering. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Pay Range

$44,743.00 - $58,161.00
