Job Summary

This position is located with the 9 Mission Support Command, Training Support Group (TSG), Army Reserve (AR) Installation Management (INST MGT) in Fort Shafter Flats, HI.

Major Duties

  • Manage, supervise, coordinate and implement environmental programs in support of the Army Environmental Strategy.
  • Program management of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act.
  • Develop environmental policies for Pacific Region.
  • Provide professional advice to installation activities regarding environmental matters.
  • Ensure command-wide compliance with environmental program policy and regulation.
  • Prepare and disseminate written guidance to all echelons regarding environmental policy changes.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes work that involves managing and implementing environmental programs; ensuring regulatory compliance; preparing required documents and reports to identify the full scope of the project; and work that demonstrates an extensive knowledge of environmental sciences. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Pay Range

$76,730.00 - $99,753.00
