This position is located with the 9 Mission Support Command, Training Support Group (TSG), Army Reserve (AR) Installation Management (INST MGT) in Fort Shafter Flats, HI.
Major Duties
- Manage, supervise, coordinate and implement environmental programs in support of the Army Environmental Strategy.
- Program management of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act.
- Develop environmental policies for Pacific Region.
- Provide professional advice to installation activities regarding environmental matters.
- Ensure command-wide compliance with environmental program policy and regulation.
- Prepare and disseminate written guidance to all echelons regarding environmental policy changes.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes work that involves managing and implementing environmental programs; ensuring regulatory compliance; preparing required documents and reports to identify the full scope of the project; and work that demonstrates an extensive knowledge of environmental sciences. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Pay Range
$76,730.00 - $99,753.00
