Job Summary

You will serve as an Environmental Protection Specialist in the Waste Management Section, Facilities Department ofMARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI .

Major Duties

  • You will review and monitor compliance with all relevant environmental regulations pertaining to solid waste management and recycling.
  • You will oversee the daily operations to ensure mission accomplishment which includes ensuring funds, property and other resources are guarded against fraud, waste, loss, unauthorized use and misappropriation.
  • You will develop and annually review a Qualified Recycling Program (QRP) Business plan outlining the overall management of the installation.recycling program.
  • You will assist activities in developing resource recovery and implementing solid waste management strategies.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, coordinating and executing environmental programs concerning solid waste management and recycling program to include: recycling management operations, sales, financial management, education and outreach programs in accordance with U.S. and Host Nation Environmental laws and regulations. Pay Range

$55,204.00 - $71,764.00
