Job Summary

This announcement uses the Defense Industrial Base, Major Range and Test Facilities direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service.
Major Duties
- You will design training and develop curriculum for installation environmental training programs.
- You will review and interpret Federal and state environmental protection laws and regulations and methods of legal compliance related to environmental training.
- You will write and edit official correspondence to local, state and Federal agencies.
- You will develop media tools that enhance environmental awareness and protection aboard MCA S Yuma.
- You will review Scopes-of-Work, specifications and estimates in planning and managing the section budget.
- You will plan work assignments and standards and will evaluate training instructor and contractor performance in a classroom setting.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing training and related curriculum for environmental training programs, work planning and evaluation of training program instructors AND developing tools to enhance environmental awareness and protection for an organization. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Pay Range
$64,009.00 - $83,210.00
