Job Summary
You will serve as a ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST in the Environmental Affairs Branch (EAB) of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BUTLER .
Major Duties
- Provide Environmental Management Systems (EMS) training, develop and update the EMS, and ensure environmental compliance evaluations are conducted and tracked.
- Ensure all potential affects to the environment are addressed in the appropriate EMS and will provide EMS training for tenant commands and other environmental training as required.
- Evaluate the EMS is briefed to senior management and continue to evaluate and improve EMS as required by Executive Order.
- Develop, procure, and provide EMS training for all personnel (US and MLC) and ensure training is provided to senior leadership and all others as required.
- Conduct staff assistance visits/inspection, prepare reports with recommended corrective actions, and conduct follow up actions.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Provide technical expertise in Environmental Management Systems (EMS); ensure compliance evaluations; conduct staff assistance visits inspections and provide environmental training. Pay Range
$53,805.00 - $69,951.00
