Job Summary

You will serve as a Environmental Protection Specialist in the Environmental Affairs (EA) Division of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.

Major Duties

  • You will prepare command orders, policies, and written instruction for compliance with the NEPA.
  • You will coordinate contracted field and administrative activities in support of NEPA documentation.
  • You will continuously monitor NEPA compliance through oversight on other command and tenant organizations.
  • You will possess thorough knowledge of scientific principles, environmental and natural resource management practices.
  • You will possess expert knowledge of organizing, coordinating, and conducting assessments.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Preparing policy, documentation, and written instruction for compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA); AND providing proposals regarding environmental alternatives, mitigation strategies, and necessary environmental action as it relates to federal environmental regulations. Pay Range

$84,785.00 - $110,224.00
