Job Summary

The Alaska District is seeking to fill a District and Regional Expert and Program Manager position in Enterprise Geographic Information System (eGIS) located in the Engineering & Construction Division, Geotechnical & Engineering Services Branch, Geomatics Section. An ideal candidate will have a strong background and experience in Enterprise Geographic Information System administration and eGIS technology applications.

Major Duties

  • Serve as the District's Enterprise Geographic Information System (eGIS) Administrator and Regional Geographic Information System subject matter expert.
  • Prepares and establishes procedures and directives for eGIS knowledge management.
  • Conduct or assist in conducting research in the area of Enterprise Geographic Information System (eGIS) that has District and Region-wide improvement applications.
  • Maintains awareness of current advances in geospatial information systems planning and policies.
  • Participates in conferences with military installation representatives including higher Corps of Engineers Authority, District, Architect-Engineer firms, non-Federal project sponsors, and other interested parties.

Pay Range

$102,026.00 - $132,637.00
