Job Summary

You will serve as a INTERDISCIPLINARY COMMUNITY PLANNER/ENGINEER/ARCHITECT in the Public Works Department of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC located in Crane, IN.

Major Duties

  • You will identify opportunities, costs, risk, and payback for innovative approaches to Shore Installation Management.
  • You will be able to balance multiple projects and priorities.
  • You will understand and apply the planning, programming, and budgeting system and how it affects base development and facility projects.
  • You will understand and apply Urban Planning Principles, Land Use Compatibility, Land Use Constraints Analysis, Safety Criteria Applications, Sustainable Development Principles, Encroachment, and the Site Approval Process.
  • You will make recommendations to decision makers based on sound economic analysis.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: One year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing engineering, management, and economic data to identify liabilities/benefits of planning projects; 2) Applying planning principles and concepts to manage a Shore Facility Planning System and; 3) Consulting with clients to provide recommendations and plans for assets and/or land. Pay Range

$74,750.00 - $97,179.00
