Job Summary

Major Duties

  • You will serve as the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Installation Energy Manager.
  • You will ensure the development and execution of a comprehensive energy program overseeing complex engineering solutions to energy conservation, renewable energy and energy security requirements.
  • You will develop energy conservation measures that leverage technology to meet the energy goals of numerous federal mandates.
  • You will identify and justify program requirements needed to resource and manage the energy program.
  • You will review and approve contractor invoices and evaluate contractor performances.
  • You will serve as a member of the design review team as the energy subject matter expert to ensure that design meets intent of energy projects.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Incorporating energy and water conservation technology, sustainable design principles and renewable energy solutions in facility engineering designs; 2) Managing and overseeing the execution of energy projects; 3) Recommending engineering solutions to reduce energy and water consumption; 4) Conducting energy audits, surveys and studies; 4) Monitoring energy consumption for compliance with organizational mandates and goals. Pay Range

$81,315.00 - $109,465.00
