Job Summary

Major Duties

  • You will establish project requirements to ensure project success (e.g., milestones, schedules, budgets, costs.)
  • You will prepare and validate Life Cycle Cost and Energy Return on Investment (eROI) analysis for energy projects.
  • You will develop risk management procedures to identify problems with program costs, performance, schedule, or affordability.
  • You will review the effectiveness of the contractor's quality control system.

Qualifications

This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) if applying for the 0801, 0810, 0830 and 0850 series. You must be a Registered Architect (RA) if applying for the 0808 series. Your license or registration must be held in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Develop upper level briefs to communicate/report timely program execution status; 2) Applying advanced engineering principles, concepts, standards, and methods sufficient to apply experimental theories and/or new applications or developments to extend theories, concepts, and assumptions; 3) Using predictive and quantitative factors for programming resources required to ensure current and future readiness of industrial control systems, utility management systems, and energy management systems; and 4) Applying public laws/regulations governing utility management, energy management and secure network infrastructure systems. Pay Range

$91,242.00 - $118,612.00
