Job Summary
You will serve as a INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/ARCHITECT in the Operations Department of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND PAC. A Cost-of-Living Allowance (COLA) of 10.28% will be added to the stated salary.
Major Duties
- You will analyze metrics and related project data to measure project or team performance.
- You will provide strategic planning systems engineering input to acquisition processes.
- You will oversee the facility planning obligated funds to support asset management and facility investment strategy.
- You will Prepare repair and construction project documentation (e.g., site approval, economic analysis, National Environmental Policy Act [NEPA] approval) for Congressional and higher headquarters funded projects.
Qualifications
This position has a Selective Placement Factor, which require current registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Architect (PA) in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. In addition to the basic education requirement your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving as the Program Manager for multiple NAVFAC products & services being delivered in support of their assigned Naval Enterprise; 2) Applying business, administrative, and program processes necessary to ensure that products and services are being provided effectively to the customers; 3) Applying engineering principles and project management required to perform the analysis of data from engineering programs; 4) Managing projects in a timely manner in order to accomplish objectives within resource constraints; 5) Provide effective and constructive team feedback for the purpose of improving performance; and 6) Acting as the facilitator in order to solve problems with limited/conflicting input to provide solutions. Pay Range
$111,163.00 - $144,510.00
