Job Summary
You will serve as a SENIOR FACILITY PLANNER in the ASSET MANAGEMENT BUSINESS LINE of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.
Major Duties
- You will implement new procedures or processes to ensure technical adequacy and timely completion of assigned projects.
- You will compose technical reports for management providing updates on the status of master plans.
- You will interact with customers, inspectors, and engineering staff regarding facility deficiencies, scope clarification, or project development.
- You will evaluate architecture and engineering construction projects to recommend and implement initiatives for improvements.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge of the principles, concepts, theories, and practices of community planning, architecture, and engineering to review engineering proposals, drawings, specifications, etc., used in facilities planning, design, construction, alteration, and repair; 2) Developing facilities planning schedules, budgets, and execution strategies; and 3) Advising others on organizational facilities planning policy and guidance. Pay Range
$88,704.00 - $115,313.00
