Job Summary

You will serve as a ENGINEER OR ARCHITECT of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND MARIANAS. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 12.80% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.

Major Duties

  • You will evaluate the engineering, design, and construction work performed by other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
  • You will participate in contractor evaluation and source selection for contract award.
  • You will develop project plans (e.g., engineering design and construction project) to include work requirements, resource needs, execution schedules and acquisition plans.
  • You will implement new procedures or processes to ensure technical adequacy and timely completion of assigned projects.
  • You will negotiate work scopes (e.g., schedule, cost, performance requirements) with project sponsors.
  • You will prepare documents (e.g., cost estimates, sketches, and clarifying drawings) used during change order negotiations.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing construction engineering and construction management services to include oversight, coordination, and guidance of facility and utility construction projects for an assigned region. Pay Range

$88,704.00 - $115,313.00
