Major Duties

  • Manage and provide expert guidance on the District?s mitigation banking and in lieu fee programs.
  • Make informed decisions on mitigation proposals based on applicable laws, agency regulation, policies and guidance.
  • Manage, review, and approve complex wetland and stream mitigation plans and In Lieu of Fee programs within the District?s area of responsibility, including their establishment, permitting and monitoring.
  • Lead a diverse group of resource and regulatory agency personnel to review the state?s ILF program as well as the Mitigation Bank Review Team.
  • Lead, coach, and train team members in methods and techniques of problem solving and gives advice on work methods, practices and procedures.
  • Intercede with the supervisor on behalf of the team to inform the supervisor of performance management issues, problems and to recommend personnel action(s) to resolve the issues.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Pay Range

$94,803.00 - $123,247.00
