Job Summary

You will serve as a Manager in the MISSILE SYSTEMS INTEGRATION & WEAPONS EFFECT DIVISION, WEAPONS CONTROL & INTEGRATION DEPARTMENT of NAVSURFWARCENDLD.

Major Duties

  • You will plan, organize, coordinate, allocate resources, and direct work in a Research and Development (R and D) environment.
  • You will set the goals for the branch, providing overall strategic planning and technical and administrative leadership with oversight to ensure the quality and integrity of delivered products.
  • You will provide managerial and decision authority regarding personnel and projects within the branch to support future efforts in missile launching systems and weapons effectiveness analysis.
  • You will perform supervisory duties (e.g., performance evaluations, resource management, recruiting/ retention of personnel, professional career development of assigned personnel, and integrate Equal Employment Opportunity programs and objectives).

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 pay band (GS-12/13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer or scientist providing technical direction in the execution of research, development, or test and evaluation (RDT&E) efforts related to the development of weapon systems, the integration of naval platform missiles and missile launcher weapon systems programs, and the evaluation of weapons effectiveness. Pay Range

$102,663.00 - $170,800.00
