Job Summary
You will serve as a MANAGER in the ENERGETIC SYSTEMS DIVISION, SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of NAVSURFWARCEN IHEODTECHDIV.
Major Duties
- You will serve as the Branch Manager responsible for management, supervision, and oversight of underwater systems programs.
- You will supervise and manage a branch of engineers, scientists, logisticians and technicians.
- You will perform standard personnel duties.
- You will conduct performance reviews.
- You will develop training plans, assign tasks and monitor performance.
- You will prepare and review budgets, estimates, schedules, proposals, procedures, presentations, technical reports, and other documentation.
- You will plan, coordinate, manage, staff, budget and direct work of the branch in carrying out program responsibilities.
- You will develop proposals and conduct marketing.
- You will organize the team to provide engineering support to customers.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 pay band or GS-12/13 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer or scientist providing direction or guidance in the execution of work efforts related to weapon systems. Pay Range
$99,172.00 - $166,500.00
