Job Summary

You will serve as a JXQD Manager of the Deputy Division Manager Branch within the Electro Optic Technology Division of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, equivalent to the GS-13 to GS-15. The salary for this position may be limited to a GS-14 Step 10 (currently $ 140146).

Major Duties

  • You will provide leadership on the development, implementation, and sustainment of the Division's projects and business development strategies.
  • You will provide oversight and guidance on the approach for reviewing the division's key projects through execution reviews and metrics for cost, quality, risk management and schedule monitoring.
  • You will be responsible for implementation of technical rigor and risk management planning throughout the division.
  • You will help identify where corrective action is needed and work to resolve developing or existing problems.
  • You will coordinate and integrate the work of lower organizational units.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 pay band (GS-12/13 Equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a Professional Engineer or Scientist leading the development, planning or execution of engineering projects, programs or initiatives. Pay Range

$91,231.00 - $164,858.00
