Job Summary

You will serve as a Manager in the Future Combat Systems Capabilities Branch; Future Combat Systems Division; Integrated Combat Systems Department of NAVSURFWARCENDLD. If selected, you will serve as the Head of the Future Combat System Capabilities Branch, V11.

Major Duties

  • You will provide strategic and daily leadership for a diverse group of approximately 30 employees responsible for providing core systems engineering expertise for future combat systems integration and capabilities.
  • You will be responsible for organizational leadership, business development, customer satisfaction, ensuring adequate funding and facilities for branch personnel.
  • You will be responsible for recruitment and retention of personnel, career development for Branch personnel and conducting the full range of supervisory duties in support of Division, Department and Center goals and objectives.
  • You will provide technical leadership and holds accountability for overall quality, timeliness, and fiscal aspects of branch products and services; accountable for all commitments (planning/execution/tracking), made by the branch.
  • You will focus on management and development of current product lines, seek new opportunities where mission may be applicable, and support the Division Head in the long term planning for the technical viability of the organization.
  • You will provide HR leadership including providing for position management, administration of PARS and DEMO systems, recognition of employee contributions, developing career opportunities, conflict resolution, and guidance to new employees.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer or scientist coordinating or conducting design, development, integration, test & evaluation, or system engineering activities for Navy warfare/combat systems. Pay Range

$102,663.00 - $170,800.00
