Job Summary
These positions falls within the Data Generation Branch of the Army Geospatial Center's Warfighter Support Directorate. These positions support the Army's geospatial Community of Practice (COP) and the Army Geospatial Enterprise (AGE) through the development of high fidelity terrain data focused on lines of communications and terrain visualization to support the Army's Standard, Sharable Geospatial Foundation (SSGF). These are permanent positions.
Major Duties
- Terrain analysis and imagery analysis using geographic information systems or related capabilities to create AGC data sets in support of Army geospatial requirements.
- Plan, research, analyze, manage and disseminate enterprise level Geospatial Information Systems solutions to US Army customers.
- Understand use of Standard, Shareable, Geospatial Foundation (SSGF) Data types and other raster/vector products Data formats and shapefiles.
- Experienced with ESRI geospatial software solutions and 3D Visualization and Exploitation (Skyline (TerraBuilder, TerraExplorer, CityBuilder, PhotoMesh)
- Utilize Army, AGC, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), Government and non-Government Products and Services; hardcopy and digital softcopy maps as well as the various online GEOINT services NGA provides on NIPR and classified networks

Maintaining intra-agency contacts with scientists and engineers at all levels. Applying in-depth analyses to assist with determining requirements for advanced work in geospatial products and services. Pay Range
$86,335.00 - $112,240.00
