Qualifications
ASSESSMENT FACTORS1. Experience conducting laboratory analysis of chemical compounds using common laboratory practices, standards, and instruments such as Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) or Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS).2. Experience applying chemical principles. theories, practices and methodologies to solve or address analytic questions or problems.3. Applies advanced techniques to differentiate between relevant and irrelevant information, and make sound conclusions, and provide guidance to others.4. Integrates intelligence reporting and other relevant information sources by utilizing available analysis/collection tools and systems as well as through networking with appropriate Agency personal and subject matter experts.5. Is able to determine and task collection methods most suitable to address analytic gaps.HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS 1. Experience conducting specimen or material collection in a field environment2. Experience conducting laboratory analysis in a field medical or other deployed laboratory.Basic Requirements:1. Degree: physical science, engineering, or mathematics that included 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics.or2. Combination of education and experience -- education equivalent to one of the majors shown in A above that included at least 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
Pay Range
$74,596.00 - $115,313.00
