Job Summary
You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the STRUCTURES & COMPOSITES DIVISION within the PLATFORM INTEGRITY DEPT of CARDEROCK DIV NS. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The (ND-5) pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the (GS-14) and (GS-15).
Major Duties
- You will be responsible for the technical stewardship and management of the Composite Structures Fleet Applications portfolio.
- You will provide technical and management leadership to develop, integrate, and provide in-service support for composite structural solutions for current and future surface, subsurface, and unmanned naval platforms.
- You will provide systems engineering, criteria development, acquisition support, numerical analysis, and in-service support for composite fleet applications.
- You will provide subject matter expertise in the development, review, and advancement of numerical modeling for composite and hybrid structural systems relevant to naval structures.
- You will provide subject matter expertise in the fabrication and repair of large scale composite structures relevant to surface, subsurface, and unmanned platforms.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) in the Federal service, or in the public or private sector as a professional engineer managing the development and repair of composite structures for naval ships. Pay Range
$102,663.00 - $170,800.00
