Job Summary

You will serve as an ENGINEER OR SCIENTIST in the LITTORAL & MINE WARFARE SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT of NAVSURFWARFCTR PANAMA CITY DIVISION.

Major Duties

  • You will identify and correct areas of weakness and gaps in engineering processes and practices.
  • You will think strategically using knowledge of program strategy and needed capabilities to anticipate future program needs.
  • You will negotiate fiscal year tasking with program management offices.
  • You will serve as a Senior Project Manager for the Mine Countermeasures Unmanned Surface Vehicle (MCM USV) program within the Off-board Systems Development Branch at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division.
  • You will serve as the lead Technical Direction Agent per NAVSEA Engineering and Technical Authority Policy, supporting the Unmanned Maritime Systems program office (PMS 406).
  • You will be accountable to lead the engineering development, testing, operation, sustainment, fiscal, and technical management aspects of the MCM USV program?s multi-disciplinary systems-of-systems components and teams.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS- 12/13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer or scientist Planning unmanned surface vehicle engineering programs. Pay Range

$91,231.00 - $164,858.00
