Job Summary

You will serve as a Program Manager in the Maritime Weapons Control Systems Engineering Branch; Maritime Weapons Control Systems Division; Weapons Control & Integration Department of NAVSURFWARCENDLD. If selected, you will serve as the Undersea Warfare Program Director.

Major Duties

  • You will provide overall program oversight of all Undersea Warfare (USW) projects under your cognizance to include both tasking and financial oversight.
  • You will support long-range strategic planning and new business development initiatives.
  • You will improve current technologies or facilitate transitioning to future technologies.
  • You will develop, adjudicate, and maintain defined tasking statements that accurately describe the work to be performed.
  • You will be responsible for the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing of all projects in the Undersea Warfare domain under your control.
  • You will Maintain Branch workload management tools (WAW, ERP, etc.) to document current and future expected tasking/workload.
  • You will serve as the NAVSURFWARCENDLD Customer Advocate for Undersea Warfare.
  • You will mentor junior and mid-level scientists/engineers.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer or scientist coordinating or conducting design, development, test & evaluation, integration, or in-service engineering of Navy combat/weapons systems. Pay Range

$102,663.00 - $170,800.00
