Job Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SCIENTIST in the Acquisition and Readiness Assessment Department, Information Management Division, Data Management Branch of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV.

Major Duties

  • You will be accountable for the execution of the branch's day to day operations and ensure the delivery of quality products on time and within budget.
  • You will apply Human Capital Management policies and regulations in leading and managing personnel assigned to the branch.
  • You will establish objectives, sets priorities, use internal controls, goal setting techniques, delegation, and team building to effectively manage the branch.
  • You will effectively attract and retain a high-caliber workforce and act in a responsible and timely manner on all steps in the recruitment and hiring process.
  • You will oversee the technical processes for information management services to internal department customers via collaboration and coordination with Information the Systems Division Head, peer branch heads in the department, and key project leads.
  • You will establish and oversee development, operation, and maintenance of data management processes necessary to ensure the availability of quality source data to analysts and assessment processes throughout the department
  • You will oversee the data transfer between unclassified and classified environment in accordance with authorized procedures

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 (GS-9/11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional Engineer, Scientist, Operations Research Specialist, or Mathematician carrying out management and technical processes for a naval surface warfare combat or weapon systems program. Pay Range

$73,096.00 - $135,440.00
