Job Summary

You will serve as a Branch Head in the Acquisition & Readiness Assessment Department, Weapons & Infrastructure Assessment Division of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV.

Major Duties

  • You will be responsible for the execution of the branch's day to day operations and ensure the delivery of quality products on time and within budget.
  • You will establish objectives, set priorities, use internal controls, goal setting techniques, delegation, and team building to effectively manage the branch.
  • You will oversee technical work including risk assessment of Navy systems by applying principles of systems engineering, cybersecurity, and awareness of operational environment.
  • You will oversee all data science/analytics products and tasking.
  • You will work across the Warfare Centers and stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive data driven solutions.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 (GS-09 or GS-11 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional Engineer, Scientist, Physicist, Operations Research Analyst, or Mathematician applying engineering or scientific principles and methods to develop and test missile systems. Pay Range

$73,096.00 - $135,440.00
