Job Summary
Serves as the Chief, Lakes Branch, Operations Division, responsible for the overall natural resources program management, recreation, park operation, visitor assistance, environmental stewardship, flood risk management, hydropower, water supply and other associated programs for the five water resource development Lake Projects and three Cape Fear Locks and Dams in the Wilmington District.
Major Duties
- Exercise principal leadership and directs a subordinate staff of approximately six team members to include four Operations Project Managers (OPMs), one hydropower section chief, and a natural resources section chief.
- Meet performance standards through the control of expenditures, allocation of available resources, and contracting for work, which is in excess of that which could be completed with in-house labor.
- Develop and Coordinate the natural resources management program, environmental stewardship program, recreation program, flood risk management programs, water supply program, hydropower program, and policies for all multipurpose projects.
- Consult with District branch and section chiefs, programs and project managers to coordinate project plans and schedules.

Pay Range
$107,807.00 - $140,146.00
