Job Summary

You will serve as Chief of a technical section within the Environmental and Cultural Resources Branch supervising and coordinating the activities of the section.

Major Duties

  • Supervise a team of professional employees in a variety of disciplines in several scientific fields.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of environmental and cultural resources planning and compliance.
  • Assign subordinates to project delivery teams responsible for overall project execution.
  • Execution of all procedures and coordination necessary to ascertain that compliance with each environmental or cultural resource requirement is provided for assigned projects.
  • Compliance of district actions for assigned projects, other than Regulatory, under the National Environmental Policy Act, National Historic Preservation Act, and other applicable Federal laws, regulations, and executive orders.

In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing oversight for planning studies, projects or programs relating to environmental and cultural resource support for all phases of Civil Works and Military programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Pay Range

$99,941.00 - $129,926.00
