Job Summary
You will serve as a Supervisory Interdisciplinary Engineer/Scientist in the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast, Industrial Operations Management Department of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Major Duties
- Direct the planning and execution of the mission of the division
- Submit recommendations for major acquisition research/views which impact on environmental issues
- Consult with directors of other divisions within the FRC concerning environmental compliance
- Manage a multitude of extensive budgets for the projects that are scheduled and controlled by the division
- Assure policy and procedures are in place
- Establish methods, techniques, and parameters of data collection
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assure policies and procedures are in place; provide personnel with proper skills and training to effectively support the division; brief senior officials regarding problems, issues, and developments regarding environmental compliance; provide long range planning for the division; ensure environmental programs are implemented and managed in compliance with applicable regulations; identify corrective actions; direct the planning and execution of the mission of the division; provide budget analysis and execution; identify training needs; cooperate in the development of an EEO affirmative action plan; make selections of subordinate positions. Pay Range
$88,704.00 - $115,313.00
