Job Summary
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER in the PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION of ENGRFLDACT, NW/RESOFCHARGECONST EFA. This interdisciplinary position will be filled as a Supervisory General Engineer (0801), Supervisory Civil Engineer (0810), Supervisory Mechanical Engineer (0830), or Supervisory Electrical Engineer (0850).
Major Duties
- You will prepare and conduct briefings to relay energy consumption and reduction information.
- You will plan or coordinate facility maintenance and system replacement to determine work assignments, budget requirements, and timeline for completion of project.
- You will counsel employees on work and administrative matters to promote team building and improve business practices.
- You will identify developmental and training needs of employees by arranging for needed development or training.
Qualifications
This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your current PE license with your application. In addition to meeting the selective placement factor, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:**NOTE** This information must be clearly supported in your resume. 1) Managing utility operations to include budgeting, maintenance, management, repair, construction, and inspection;
2) Administering programs associated with the management and operation of energy conservation programs;
3) Assigning and defining responsibilities and duties of subordinates;

Pay Range
$99,941.00 - $129,926.00
