Job Summary

You will serve as a Supervisory Interdisciplinary Engineer/Architect in the Naval Facilities Engineering Command of NAVFAC ROICC NAPLES.***Please Note: Locality pay is not authorized for overseas locations***

Major Duties

  • You will begin manage complex projects to achieve cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • You will manage engineering projects to ensure completion and technical requirements are met.
  • You will resolve conflict and negotiate solutions to complex technical issues or concerns to support Facilities Engineering and customer needs
  • You will implement capital improvements (CI) processes and policies to verify consistent application and efficiencies.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Resolve complex issues and problems in the areas of architecture, engineering, master planning, systems integration, and scheduling to accomplish project within the specific time frame; 2) Resolve conflict and negotiate solutions to complex technical issues or concerns to support Facilities Engineering and customer needs; 3) Solve design-build and construction problems through the creation of contract documents for architect-engineer (A/E) firms; and 4) Develop acquisition strategies (e.g., long-range, near-term), methods, or goals for the execution of design and construction projects. $76,687.00 - $99,691.00
