Job Summary
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY ENVIRONMENTAL POSITION in the Naval Facilities Engineering Command NAVFAC) Far East, Operations, Public Works Department of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD FAR EAST.
Major Duties
- You will develop, manage, execute, and provide engineering and scientific support for projects and studies related to Environmental Planning and Conservation for NAVFAC Yokosuka.
- You will provide advice and assistance to managers on environmental protection policies and regulations.
- You will manage Cultural Resource programs, Natural Resource programs,conduct environmental assessments and historic preservation programs.
- You will review engineering plans, designs and submittals to ensure appropriate environmental protection provisions are included.
- You will provide guidance and develop engineering/scientific studies and projects and needed to achieve and maintain compliance for NAVFAC Yokosuka and its tenant commands.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in a professional Supervisory Interdisciplinary Environmental Position providing management and planning support for environmental programs, developing plans and budgets for contracted environmental projects, and advising over environmental protection policies and regulations. Pay Range
$66,640.00 - $85,990.00
