Job Summary
You will serve as a Technical Program Manager in the Global Deterrance and Defense Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12/13.
Major Duties
- You will establish and implement corporate objectives, identify customer requirements, establish clear and achievable objectives, and track and report project status.
- You will coordinate with Performing Division Managers, approve the appointment of Task Managers, coordinate with various Financial Management Core Teams and Project Analysts to establish funding structure and execution of workload.
- You will analyze performance indexes such as schedule performance, cost performance, percent complete and percent spent. Identify trends and recommend necessary actions to resolve current or potential performance, resource or funding problems.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 or GS-9/11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Engineer or Scientist planning and executing engineering project objectives to meet time, cost and compliance requirements Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:

Pay Range
$62,236.00 - $115,313.00
