Job Summary

You will serve as a Technical Project Manager in the Maritime Mission Systems Division (E10) of NAVSURFWARFCTR PANAMA CITY DIVISION. If selected, you will support Undersea Mobility, which includes manned wet combat submersibles, unmanned underwater vehicles, and related technologies.

Major Duties

  • You will apply project management principles and best practices in the management of a portfolio of projects involving Navy systems.
  • You will lead and mentor project managers regarding the execution of sponsor tasking in accordance with both internal and external requirements.
  • You will utilize knowledge of DoD acquisition policies, and apply them to technical projects at multiple programmatic phases (Engineering and Manufacturing Development, Production and Deployment, and Operations and Support).
  • You will analyze, design, test, and/or conduct sustainment of militarized systems.
  • You will utilize knowledge of NAVSEA Engineering and Technical Authority policy as it relates to Engineering Agent assignments and technical capabilities health assessments.
  • You will speak authoritatively at all levels of the organization, to include Flag Officers and Senior Executives, informing and advising them on execution status, risks, and issues.
  • You will develop written correspondence, proposals, action plans, briefs, point papers and contracts in a succinct, organized manner.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer or scientist coordinating or conducting design, development, test & evaluation, integration, or in-service engineering of underwater mobility systems. Pay Range

$91,231.00 - $164,858.00
