Pupils can: relate their existing knowledge about earthquakes to historis paintings of the results of earthquakes; look carefully at a painting to notice fine details; reprt scientifically using scientific language; realise that in the past people didn't know how to explain earthquakes and so myths about their origins arose; and work together in a group to produce one report.
