Description: 

This institute for science teachers takes place at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston. The workshop provides hands-on, inquiry-based science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) activities as well as opportunities to work with NASA scientists and engineers and conduct field investigations on this year's space science theme: "Starry Night." Teachers of grades 4-12 with at least one year of teaching experience, a willingness to share information with others, and US citizenship are eligible. The program is free for Texas teachers.
