Interactive map of hurricane induced coastal erosion hazards

The U.S. Geological Survey's (USGS) interactive map shows information on the probabilities of hurricane-induced erosion for the U.S. Gulf and Atlantic coasts for category 1-5 hurricanes. The information used in the map has been updated to account for Hurricane Matthew in 2016 and can be used to identify areas vulnerable to extreme and potentially catastrophic erosion during landfall.
