AGU: New Open Access Journal GeoHealth Announced

The American Geophysical Union announced this week that it is launching a new open acces journal GeoHealth and will cover, "a wide variety of global and local issues including the impacts of climate change on human, agricultural, and ecosystem health, air and water pollution, environmental persistence of herbicides and pesticides, radiation and health, geomedicine, and the health effects of disasters." The founding Editor will be Rita Colwell, Distinguished University Professor at the University of Maryland, College Park and Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health and former Director of the National Science Foundation.
