In the September 2016 issue of "AEG News,"  the monthly newsletter of the Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists (AEG), President Paul Santi muses on ways to retain student members in his piece titled Student Member + x = Professional Member (on page 4). He notes that student members make up approximately 1/3 of the AEG membership but that number declines steeply upon their graduation. Santi presents some fun ideas to keep student members on at the professional level.
