Join AGI Geoscience Policy Program Director, Maeve Boland, as she presents "What Next? Translating AGI’s 2015 Guidelines for Ethical Professional Conduct into Practice" today at 11:44am PST in session PA12B-07. In her presentation, she will be discussing a revised version of Guidelines for Ethical Professional Conduct that reflect a consensus of opinion among AGI’s 51 member societies and show an evolution in thinking about geoscience ethics. She will examine the level of success in using these Guidelines as philosophical cornerstones for a number of international projects, such as Resourcing Future Generations and the International Raw Materials Observatory, which bring geoscience directly into contact with large societal issues.
