In the latest issue of "The Professional Geologist," the American Institute of Professional Geologists published a thoughtful editorial titled "The Measure of a Geologist." AIPG Editor Jean M. Patota, CPG-11438, writes that the measure of any geologist is their ability to apply geologic and scientific concepts to solve challenges, and that "to earn geologic 'Street Cred' it doesn't matter who you are or where you came from - it matters what you can apply, communicate, and accomplish."
