We celebrate TWO focus days for Earth Science Week today! First we will talk about No Child Left Inside, or NCLI. Even Congress wants to see kids get outside! Groups nationwide want to encourage educators and mentors to bring kids out of the classroom to celebrate learning outside!

One opportunity to celebrate is to take advantage of the Every Kid in a Park program, where 4th grade students are able to gain admission into Federal Parks, Lands and Waters for a whole year (https://www.everykidinapark.gov)! Before you leave, students and educators can download a free book on America's Geologic Heritage to learn more about the processes that shaped the country (http://bit.ly/1Kg1k6N). Share your adventures by tagging your pictures with #NCLI.
